According to Football Spy at the Daily Mirror, it is going to cost West Bromwich £4 million to sign Juan Carlos Menseguez permanently from San Lorenzo. Menseguez joined the club in January on loan.

According to Richard Bailey at Sky Sports, Wigan Athletic defender Titus Bramble is close to a new deal with the club. Bramble told the Evening Post,

“I think the new contract is almost finalised … Fingers crossed it will get signed in the next week or so. I’m happy here because I’m playing week in, week out.”

According to Martin Lipton at the Daily Mirror, Ronaldinho is going to join Manchester City this summer. The other day Ronaldinho’s brother, Roberto de Assis Moreira said:

According to Phil Thomas at The Sun, Manchester City are preparing to offer Chelsea £15 million for striker Didier Drogba. City are also preparing to offer Drogba a a three-year deal worth around £150,000 a week.

According to David Woods at the Daily Star, Chelsea are planning to get rid of striker Didier Drogba and replace him with Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor. Boss Arsene Wenger hinted that Adebayor might be on the way out. He said,

“I don’t want to go into any individual assessment of who we want to keep and who not, at the moment, and normally Adebayor is part of our plans for the future.”

“And, if I feel that a player should go, or could go, why not sell him to one of the other top four? … It’s unusual but we sold Ashley Cole to Chelsea and we bought William Gallas, so you can never say I never do it, because I’ve already done it.”

According to Richard Torgerson at Sky Sports, Gamst Pedersen is happy at Blackburn and would like to sign an extension with the club. The midfielder toldTV2 Sporten:,

“I turned them down in November last year, but now there is a new manager and I really enjoy playing for him.”

According to James Dall at Sky Sports News, Portsmouth’s ability to hold onto their players this summer will depend on the owners of the club. Chairman Peter Storrie told The News,

“I would like to keep all our good players but obviously a lot depends on the ownership issue.”

“Hopefully, we can bring a new owner in who can also put finance in because there is finance required for the club going forward.”
