Middlesbrough Sign Winger .. This Mean Downing’s Leaving?
UPDATE: According to Rob Stewart at Telegraph, Middlesbrough have signed Colchester United winger Mark Yeates for an undisclosed fee. The major question now is does this signing signal the departure of winger Steven Downing?
June 24th, 2009 According to the Tottenham Journal, Middlesbrough are willing to listen to offers from Tottenham for midfielder Stewart Downing. Middlesbrough chief executive Keith Lamb said,
“It wouldn’t be the easiest negotiations from their point of view, but I would certainly take their call.”
