Chelsea & Anelka Talks On Hold
UPDATE: According to Dominic Fifield at the Guardian, Chelsea do not plan on talking to striker Nicolas Anelka about a new deal until after the season.
August 13th, 2009 According to the Daily Mirror, Chelsea striker Nicholas Anelka is set to begin contract discussions with the club next week. His agent Doug Puglisi said,
“I think we will be having talks with Chelsea next week about Nicolas’ contract … Nicolas has two years left on his present contract and I think Chelsea would like to extend it … We plan to sit down and have talks with Chelsea about Nicolas’ future.”
