Hull City Hope To Sign Negredo By Monday Or Tuesday
According to Sky Sports News, Hull City boss Phil Brown said that he hopes to sign Real Madrid striker Alvaro Negredo by either Monday or Tuesday. He said,
“He will be an expensive signing for anybody … When you are going into the £12m brackets, and our record signing is £5m is Jimmy Bullard, it’s a sign of intent.”
“It’s not a done deal by any stretch of the imagination, but the fact that we’re sitting round a table with representatives from Real Madrid, and certainly a player from Real Madrid, shows the sign of intent from the chairman, and hopefully from the manager.”
“We’re obviously hoping to tie up the loose ends at the Real Madrid end by the close of play on either Monday or Tuesday.”
