Janko’s Agent Denies Any Interest From Birmingham

According to Sky Sports News, the agent of Red Bull Salzburg striker Marc Janko denied any interest from Birmingham. Georg Stanggassinger said,

“I have heard and read something about interest from Birmingham in Marc, but I haven’t had any contract with anyone from Birmingham … He has a contract until 2013 and Red Bull do not want to lose him.”

“It is known English clubs have tried to sign him in the past and yes Marc would like to play in the Premier League in the future … But he won’t move in the winter transfer window 100 per cent …It is not possible [to move in January], but maybe in the summer or in a year he could move.”

Tottenham To Complete Move For Sandro?

According to Richard Clarke at Arsenal’s official website, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admitted that he will be looking to purchase someone, most likely to replace injured striker Robin Van Persie. Wenger said,

“I didn’t feel we were in the need to buy anybody but we will be out on the market that is for sure now. However we will only make a decision if it suits us.”
