According to Pa Sports at MirrorFootball, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will consider loaning out midfielder Jack Wilshere if the right opportunity arrives. Wenger said,

“There is a chance [for a loan], if we have an interesting opportunity … I would prefer it to be in the Premier League, but at the top level of the Championship could be interesting as well.”

“It is important for Jack to play, so if we find a good opportunity, we will consider it.”

UPDATE: According to Simone Bargellini at Sky Sports News, Arsenal are one of several teams interested in Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko. His agent Oleg Artemov told tuttomercatoweb,

“We are not happy about his situation at Tottenham, so we’ll do everything to ensure that he can change club in January … There were contacts with Roma but for now only by phone.”

“Interested in the player are also Spartak Moscow, Arsenal and Zenit (St Petersburg), anything can happen.”

November 30th, 2009 According to Simone Bargellini at Sky Sports News, the agent of Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko stated that he will be meeting with the leaders of Roma. Oliver Wendt told romagiallorossa.com,

“Roman wants to leave London and wants to go to Rome … If Tottenham clears, Roman could be a player of AS Roma. Today or tomorrow I will meet leaders of Roma and we will discuss about it … I have had contact with them even last week and they have shown real interest.”

According to Ashley Gray at the Daily Mail, Zenit St Petersburg are set to make Luciano Spalletti their new manager. It is reported that his first order of business will be to go after striker Roman Pavlyuchenko.

“I’m very happy here … I still have this year and another and I look forward to many more at Sporting … At times, I think about the Premier League because it’s a pretty major league.”

UPDATE: According to Vasek Kadlec at Sky Sports News, the agent of Tomas Rosicky is confident a new deal will be signed with Arsenal despite Rosicky’s latest injury. Pavel Paska told deniksport.cz,

“The latest injury can not affect the negotiations on his current contract extension - the contract is already on the table … At the end of this week I am going to London and we will be discussing the details.”

“And I am sure that we will reach an agreement as both sides are interested in doing that … We have been discussing two options - a two-year or three-year contract. As for the terms, all sides will be very happy.”

November 30th, 2009 According to Sky Sports News, Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky would like to stay with the club. He said,

“The situation has not changed … The boss told me he wants me to stay, I would like to stay as well, so we will see.”

November 22nd, 2009 According to Tom Hopkinson at The People, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admitted that the club is in talks to extend the contracts of Tomas Rosicky, William Gallas, and Carlos Vela. He said,

“We are speaking with Tomas and William, and I am optimistic to find a solution for both of them … We’ve had no offers for Carlos and we are extending his contract at the moment.”

Rosicky and Gallas are currently in the last year of their contracts.
