Ancelotti Reiterates That He Does Not Need To Spend

UPDATE: According to The Sporting Life, Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti admitted once again that he does not need to spend next month. Ancelotti said,

“I am satisfied with the team I have … In January, (Didier) Drogba, (John) Mikel, (Salomon) Kalou and (Michael) Essien will be playing in the Africa Nations Cup and they will miss four round of games in the Premier League.”

“But I have promising players like (Fabio) Borini and (Gael) Kakuta … Kakuta, 18, was the best player against APOEL (in Tuesday’s Champions League 2-2 draw).”

November 30th, 2009 According to Richard Bailey at Sky Sports News, Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti admitted that the club might not buy anybody this January if they continue to stay healthy. Ancelotti said,

“All the players are in good condition … If we maintain this we will sign nobody.”
