Liverpool Looking To Sell So They Can Go After Cole, Moses?

According to Jeremy Butler at MirrorFootball, Liverpool are looking to sell Andrea Dossena, Andriy Voronin, and Ryan Babel to raise funds so that they can go after West Ham striker Carlton Cole and Crystal Palace winger Victor Moses.

    Voronin will be sold easily, I imagine. He’s not played well this season, and sparingly, but he was strong for Hertha Berlin last year. Indeed, the Germans would have kept him, but they could not meet Liverpool’s valuation. I could imagine that a number of Bundesliga clubs will take a look — if Liverpool puts a more reasonable price on his head.

    I think you are perfectly right about Andriy Voronin.

    If Liverpool’s funds are really that tight, I don’t see why they shouldn’t try and talk to Everton striker Louis Saha. Saha will be a free agent after this season if he doesn’t pick up his third year option. That means he wouldn’t cost much if he is sold in January and if Everton do not sell him, they could potentially sign him for free in the summer.
