Manchester United Targeting Italian Defender?

According to Carla Hilton at Sky Sports News, Manchester United are interested in signing Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini. Chiellini has been rumored to be a top target of Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini.

However Sir Alex Ferguson has said several times that he is not looking to buy anybody this January.
