Arsenal Preparing Massive Offer For Mauro Zarate
According to Nadia Carminati at Sky Sports News, Arsenal are preparing a bid of €40million for Lazio striker Mauro Zarate. Zarate’s agent Jose Alberti told the Italian media,
“I am in contact with Arsenal … A couple of days ago a leader of the English club asked me about him … Arsenal wants to increase their attacking options and so already they are preparing an offer of €40million which they will deliver to Claudio Lotito [Lazio president].”
“Their intention is to succeed where Manchester City failed in the past year - that is to take Zarate back to the Premier League … Maybe this time they will succeed and from what I know Mauro is tired of the situation at Lazio.”

For 40 m euros?? what a joke. Wenger will never in his life pay that amount. But if Wenger wants him, he will get him for 10-15 m euros top.

Arsene Wenger will never spend 40 million in signing one player,whoever it is. HE might well look for some younger options.

40 mil is ridiculous and he is certainly not worth anywhere near that amount. Arsene himself even said earlier this week he would only buy a player on a “bargain”. Wenger will NEVER spend 40 mil on one player, much less this one.

Arsene Wenger never spend this much money on this type of player. if Wenger wish to spend high price like 40-45 million player needs to be very very special like expensive unavailable messi.

There’s no telling yet whether its true or not even though it is highly unlikely to be true .. For all we know this couldve been a translation error, a misquote, etc.

40 million is a lot for zarate……wenger should try goaly like sergio asenjo or vicenzo fiorillo and strikers like jovetic or bojan or pato! Midfielders like jesus navas or hamsik or pjanic!! In defenders he can get breno,drenthe,garay,subotic,fazio!! He’s got so many options he can land some of these quality young players rather than zarate. Frankly he’s not worth it

there’s a never ending list of players who can score from midfield and are more versatile than zarate……some more are skjelbred,rakitic,toni kroos, mata,rodrigo possebon,pedro,keita,tabare vuidez,villaluz,barmby, alex hleb can be back,gourcuff,goufrann,jussie,wendel,miguel vitor((20 yr old)can be a very good centre back),flamini also can be back,gomis((can play a lone striker also)this 22 yr old is a magician) of st-etien fc in ligue1.
Strikers can be dzeko,coutinho,aaron,podolski,diogo,vierush mala(16 yr old capable of challenging messi(not sure which youth academy he’s in)),ighalo, mauro calasanz(18 yr old long range clinical finisher) and on of the best in epl gabriel agbonlahor,guinan,dos santos of totenham,
Higuain,zambrela, ts never ending
and again i hope arsene wenger reads both my blogs because 40 million should not go waste coz its a lot when these players can be bought!

jose baxter (16 yr old striker of everton),dan gosling(19 yr old fullback of everton),j rodwell( central defensive midfielder of everton) they are some good defensive options…..but aren’t needed when attackers are required! Anderson or fedricho macheda or d gibson are good options and in arsenal’s youth academy they can bring in oghuzan ozyakup a good fast small clinical finisher!

since, henry leave the gunners there is lack of good striker so to fulfill it wenger should buy lazio striker moura zarate. and hope to see this striker soon in emirates stadium.

i think chamakh n huntelaar is the best for arsenal…40m for zarate is too much..i’m suggest villa n srgio aguero is top striker for gunners..
