Blackburn Boss Interested In O’Neil But Doesn’t Have Funds

According to The Independent, Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce has been monitoring Middlesbrough winger Gary O’Neil but admits that he does not have the funds right now to make a move. Allardyce said,

“We’re aware of the availability of Gary O’Neil from Middlesbrough … But at the moment we don’t have any finances in place to move for any players.”

“If that changes and the board tells me there is, then we’ll have a look in the market … If it doesn’t, then we stay with what we’ve got.”
